At the association’s centre in Beau Bassin, we offer counselling to patients and their families, as well as various therapeutic activities to those who attend regularly, whom we call our ‘adherents’ or ‘clients’. They learn to understand the symptoms of their illness and how to cope with them. The Centre’s main objective is to help clients fit back into society and the world of work.
We now have a sheltered work/training programme for some of our beneficiaries who have been through our Rehabilitation and Activity Centre and are stable enough to work in a sheltered environment.
